It's time to say goodbye to SEO Blogger, our favorite live keyword research writing tool. Read more about why here.

You may have noticed that SEO Blogger, our popular free Firefox plugin, hasn't been playing particularly nicely with Firefox lately (following recent updates from Mozilla).

You may have noticed that SEO Blogger, our popular free Firefox plugin, hasn't been playing particularly nicely with Firefox lately (following recent updates from Mozilla).

There are a few reasons behind this, primarily that Firefox has been changing the way that data is handled inside the browser.

SEO Blogger was released early in 2011, and since then over 3,000 people have downloaded and used it in their blogging process: live keyword research in the browser while they wrote.

Sadly, the latest update to Firefox means that the way we pass data is now unsupported, so in newer versions of the browser, it won't work.

The good news is that we've been working hard on Wordtracker Scout, our new Chrome extension which allows you to find high performing keywords on any web page. We've been massively expanding our database and broadening our data sources to provide you with the most relevant, up-to-date keywords in our main Keyword Tool.

We're sorry if you're one of the people who have been using and loving SEO Blogger.

But ... if browser extensions for SEO are your thing, do have a look at Scout for Chrome: it's been getting some great feedback, and we'd love to hear what you think about it.
